Mr. Winston Simmons was born on June 19, 1927 in Dorchester County, South Carolina.
Winston was a lifelong member of Greater Saint Paul AME Church. He was educated in the public schools of Dorchester County.
Winston was united in holy matrimony in 1951 to Ella Ruth Baxter Simmons.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, two daughters, Minnie L. Miller of Syracuse, New York and Annie Ruth (Betsy) Simmons of Harleyville, South Carolina; three sons, Joseph (Martha) Simmons of Reevesville, South Carolina, Pinckney (Alicia) Simmons of St. George, South Carolina and Winston Simmons, Jr. of Columbia, South Carolina; twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
