Willie Lee Martino was born on February 27, 1938 to the late Willie Sr. and Ruby Mae Martino of St. George, SC. He departed this life on November 6, 2013 at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC.

Willie Lee attended Dorchester County Public Schools. Early in life he joined St. Matthews Baptist Church, but later moved his membership to Harvey Chapel Baptist Church where he served on the trustee board, and as the church sectional. Willie Lee had a sweet quiet spirit and loved everyone. He was often found underneath someone's car, or just being there for anyone in need.

He was employed by Atlanta Wood Company for many years and also worked with Williams Memorial Elementary school.

One brother and three sisters preceded him in death---Rox Martino, Mamie L. Mack, Virginia Martino, and Claretta Martino Bonaparte.

Willie Lee leaves behind his loving wife, Mary Ann Martino; one daughter, Sonia Williamson of St. George, SC; one step daughter, Cassandra Paden (Frederick) of Hanahan, SC; one brother, Shelia Martino (Janie) of St. George, SC; three sisters, Sadie M. Murray of Brooklyn, NY, Deloris Martino, and Brenda Martino both of St. George, SC; three sisters-in-laws, Carrie Bryant of Summerville, SC, Mary Yates and Dora Ann Martino both of St. George, SC; one brother-in-law, Phillip Bonnaparte of St. George, SC; grandchildren, Christopher L. Williamson, Bryin Williamson, Alexis Williamson, Kelby Bryant, and Iesha Paden and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
