Willie Lee (aka: Tiger) Glover departed this life on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Trident Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born in St. George, SC June 20, 1944. He was the tenth child of eleven children. Two girls and nine boys were born to the late Mr. Willis and Mrs. Corine Glover. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Thelma Glover Cummings and brothers, Richmond, Raymond, Sammie, Cerone, Kenneth and Wesley Glover.

Tiger as he was called by his family and friends was educated in the public schools of Dorchester County. At an early age he joined the Shady Grove United Methodist Church. He labored as a hard working farmer for over 47 years at the Kizer and Infinger Farm to provide for his family. After failing in health he was force to retired. In 1967 he married the apple of his eyes Mattie Deloise Allen Glover. To this union they were blessed with two children.

He leaves to mourn his heavenly departure: his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Mattie Deloise Allen Glover of the home; daughter, Laura Ann (Alonzo) James; son, Willie Clay Glover of Holly Hill, SC; two grandsons, Darius Devon James and Deion De'Anglo James both of Holly Hill, SC; one sister, Avon Glover King of Maryland; three brothers, James Glover of Clearwater, FL, Virgil (Rosa) Glover and Howard (Gertrude) Glover both of St. George, SC; one aunt, Minnie (Margin) Breaker of Bowman, SC; sisters-in-law, Nellie Ruth Glover of Bowman, SC, Martha Clarine Glover and Patricia Ann Allen of Maryland, Carolyn Summers of Charleston, SC, Brenda Breaker of Norfolk, VA and Shirley Ann Allen of St. George, SC; a special niece, Kimresha Glover;  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
