Obituary

Mr. William Frasier, the son of the late Alfred and Albertha Gadsen Frasier was born December 27, 1933 in Charleston, South Carolina.  He was summoned by God's angels on Friday, January 31, 2022.

William attended the public schools in Charleston County.

He gave his life to Christ at an early age where he worshiped at New Hope AME Church in St. George, SC.  Later, he joined St. Matthew Baptist Church in Charleston, SC.  He loved music and singing.

William was joined in holy matrimony to Sandy Frasier who has preceded him in death.

William did tailoring at Maxx's Menswear in Charleston, SC for many years.  He relocated then worked at Ross and Roberts in Bridgeport, Connecticut where he resided.  When he returned home he worked for the Town of St. George until he retired.

Uncle William was a sharp dresser and he had swag even in his old age.  His favorite things were fishing, yard work, coffee and cigarettes.  He had many favorite foods such as fried chicken, peanut butter sandwiches, coke cola, cheese, snack cakes, cookies and a good ole Hershey bar.  His favorite artist was Barry White.  He lived a full and good life.

He was also preceded in death by the following siblings: Alfred Frasier, Jr., Betty Frasier and Herbert Frasier.

William didn't have any biological children, but raised many. He raised Alphonzo Seabrook, nephew (deceased), Kevin Frasier, son of New York, Baron (Stephanie) Cobbs of Sharon, PA and Janiquea Rhames, daughter of St. George, SC; grandchildren, Je'kysaras Lewis, Marlayshia Daniel and Brieanna Cobbs; great grandchildren, Zora Agubuzzo and Myles Agubuzzo.

He leaves a host of loved ones to cherish his memories, his beloved niece Beverly Brothers of St. George, SC (where he resided), Roberta Brown of Moncks Corner, SC and Marvin (Lillie) Seabrook of Summerville, SC; a host of grandnieces, great grandnieces and great grandnephews, other relatives and friends.
