Wilford Hall, the second of seven children born to the late Willis, Sr. and Rachel Hall, was born September 16, 1945, in St. George, SC. Wildford's transition took place on Tuesday, June 19, 2012.

During his early years, he attended the public schools of Dorchester County until the family later moved to Mims, Florida, where continued his education in the public schools of Brevard County.

As a young man, Wilford returned to St. George, to live with his maternal grandparents. In 1973, he moved to Washington, D.C., and later to Capitol Heights, Maryland. Wilford was a hard working man and enjoyed working with his hands and on cars. Even as a child he would take apart mechanical objects and then put them back together again and they would work. While living in Washington, D.C. and Maryland, he worked as an auto mechanic for several car dealerships in the area to include but not limited to, Lustine Chevrolet, Martin's Chevrolet, Curtis Chevrolet and Ourisman Chevrolet.

In January 2012, Wilford moved back to St. George to live with his sister Susie and later moved in with his daughter, Inga. Wilford will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.

He leaves to mourn his passing, four children, Inga (Arthur) Cummings of Reevesville, SC, Dana, Elizabeth, and Ebony Hall all of LaPlata, Maryland; two brothers, Willis (Esther) Hall, Jr. of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Rogers (Ollie) Hall of Syracuse, NY; four sisters, Susie Hall of St. George, SC, Jessie Robinson of Mims, FL, Mabel (Earvie) Sanders and Marie Hall both of Titusville, FL; five grandchildren, Arkeen, Delonte, Michael, Arthur and Joshua Cummings; three great grands, Jakeen, Trenton and Kamari Cummings; one uncle, Lee Daniel (Lois) Cobb of St. Petersburg, FL; special nephews, Herschel, Brandon and Quinton Hall and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
