Mr. Wesley "Sonny" Williams entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 30, 2017.  He was born July 11, 1939 in Dorchester County, to the parents of Marion and Pauline Dessaso Williams.

Wesley was a farmer for many years.  Later he was employed with Dorchester County, until his health declined in 1992.  He attended the public schools of Dorchester County.  He joined Shady Grove United Methodist Church at an early age.

Wesley was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Clay Williams, a daughter, Jeanette Williams Pringle and a brother, Coleman Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mary Myers Williams of St. George, SC; three daughters, Gloria Washington, Deloris Williams, Eartha Williams Way (Samuel) all of St. George, SC; five sons, Edward Williams (Renee), Andy Williams (Lottie), Raymond Williams (Lisa) all of St. George, SC, Melvin Williams (Necy) of Mims, FL and Daniel Myers of Philadelphia, PA; one sister, Jettie Hopson of Landover, MD; one brother, Marion Williams (Dora) of New Jersey; one aunt and uncle, Margin and Minnie Breaker of Bowman, SC; a host of grands, great grands, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
