Wesley D. Stevens of Brooklyn, New York, entered eternal peace on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. He went home to be with his mother, Pauline James Stevens, and his oldest sister, Andrea Walker.

Wesley was born to the beautiful late Pauline James Stevens and Wesley J. Stevens at Brookdale University Hospital on March 6, 1984. Wesley was the baby of his family. He grew up on love and family values that he carried with him throughout his life, along with his sister Monique Stevens, who was also known as his best friend.

Wesley was raised on Herkimer Street in Brooklyn, New York. During his time in New York, he attended and graduated from Wildcat Academy High School. Ending his educational career, he became a profound dad to Iyanna Stevens, who he loved dearly and leaves to cherish.

Wesley was known fondly as the "Baby Whisperer" because of how kind, gentle, and playful he was with his family. He played a huge role not only in his family life but in the lives of everyone he came across. Wesley was a staple in his community. He found happiness playing basketball at the local park, Kelly Kelly. His basketball team was known as "ABE" (All Black Everything/Paulie Brothers).

Later in life, Wesley moved to Saint George, South Carolina, to help his father care for his grandmother, Eartha Lee Stevens. In the words of his grandmother, Wesley was her "Baby." Every day after work at Flying J Travel Station, he made it his duty to sit at the table with his grandmother, eat dinner, and call his cousin Taty. It was their routine, one that he leaves them to treasure.

Wesley was a bright light, always the life of the party. He made sure to create memories with everyone he encountered. Wesley gave every ounce of himself to anyone who needed a friend, a laugh, a hug, or that signature smile.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his grandmother Eartha Lee Stevens, father Wesley J. Stevens, sister Monique Stevens, daughter Iyanna Stevens, nephew Jelani Wilkes, uncles Ibrahim and Lance Stevens, aunts Vanessa and Synobia Stevens, first cousins Rashawn, Tatyana, Tamara, Ajahlè, and Shayla, along with a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
