On Sunday May 5th, 2024, God sent His angels to Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs, Florida to claim His own. Travis answered His call.  Travis Samuel "Lil Bit" Dacus was born to the late Sampson and Betty Jean Dacus on July 10, 1990.

Travis attended the Public Schools of Brevard County, Florida.  At a young age "Lil Bit" found Christ for himself.  He loved dogs, smiling, singing, eating out and going to the movies.  He also loved music and having a great time talking to his cousins and friends on the phone.

He was a long-time employee of Wendy's, McDonald's, and Taco Bell.

Travis was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Shawnetta Lyndell Dacus.

Those left to cherish his fond memories are his loving aunts, Deborah (Henry) Davis-Ancrum, Linda Moorer, Ernestine Felder (John), Trisher Owens, Dorell (Clevon) Ferguson, and Kersey Hamilton; three great aunts, Emma Lee Johnson, Essie Baxter and Carletha Palmer; special cousins, Blanchtina Davis, Shonda Edwards, Sammie 'Lucky" Jenkins, Lidia Brooks and Mariah Brown; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
