Thomas T. Green was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Thomas T. Green departed this life March 9, 2019 at Colleton Medical Center. Thomas T. Green was born July 19, 1933 to the late Henrietta Green (Isaac) and Oliver Mason. T as everyone called him, was a member of Bethel No. 1 Holiness Church and attended the public schools of Dorchester County.
Thomas T. Green was joined in marriage to Emma Q. Green. To this union nine children were born, and one preceded him in death, Kenneth Green.
Thomas T. Green was preceded in death by four brothers, Josah Green, Lorrie Mason, Nathan Mason and Curley Mason and four sisters, Ida Lee Green, Carrie Mason, Clara Mae Boyd and Eartha Clay Britt.
Thomas leaves to cherish his loving memories to his loving wife, Emma Q. Green of the home, three sons, Thomas Green, Jr., Mitchell Green and Gregory (Dejoris) Green all of Reevesville, SC; five daughters, Emma J. Green of Reevesville, SC, Queen E. Green of Brooklyn, NY, Henrietta Moorer, Teresha (Joe) Waring of Reevesville, SC, and Lula Bell Green of Chambersburg, PA; four children that he loved like his own, the late Deborah Edwards, William (Vivan) Branch of Bamberg, SC, David Branch of Elloree, SC and James Lemon of Mississippi; three brothers, Charlie (Margie) Williams of Queens, NY, Isaac (Marie) Green of Reevesville, SC, and Wallace Mason of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Mary Perry and Roseann Little both of Brooklyn, NY and Dorothy (Marvin) Callaway; one aunt, Francis Mason; 46 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Vinnie McClain and Effie Scott; five brothers-in-law, Levi (Mannie) Perry, Thomas (Shelia) Perry, Ernest (Shirley) Perry, Isaiah (Martha) Perry and Ezekiel Perry; a host of other relatives and friends.
