Aug 3, 1964 — Oct 5, 2020
Terence Kenneth Summers was born to Tossie Summers, who preceded him in death and Leatha Henderson Summers (currently Leatha Thompson) on Monday, August 3, 1964. He departed this life on Monday, October 5, 2020.
God planted the gift of love in Terence's heart. His lighthearted, jovial personality created laughter and joy in the hearts of all who knew him. He loved his family and friends deeply. Terence was blessed to learn, grow, and live primarily in Dorchester County, SC. He became a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church at the young age of 12. He remained a member until his earthly departure. He is a 1984 graduate of St. George High School. Terence was a blessing to those who knew him. He cherished, nurtured and enriched many lives.
Terence will forever live in the precious memories and lives of those he leaves behind: his mother, Ms. Leatha Thompson of Summerville, SC, whom he cherished. His Stepfather, Ernest Thompson, Sr., of Orangeburg, SC. His siblings: Mr. Timothy (Charity) Summers of Beaufort, SC; Ms. Kecia Arthur of Summerville, SC; Ms. Valarie T. Franklin of Easley, SC; Mr. Earnest (Nicole) Thompson, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; Mr. Terrence Summers of Charlotte, NC; Ms. Trina Summers of Bronx, NY and Mr. Tossie (Ashanti) Summers, Jr. of North Charleston, SC. Terence did not have any biological children. However, he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He would find it fitting to recognize his love for all of his nieces and nephews to include Darrius, Seth and Ethan Summers; Owen Arthur; Lamont and Tamara Thompson, Trevin Franklin; Alex and Eleisha Thompson; India Summers; Imani Adolphus and Jayden Curry; Alicia, Aaliyah, Tossie, III, and Micha Summers.
