On August 9, 2024, Heaven received one more angel, through the passing of our beloved, Mrs. Sylvia Williams Forde.

Sylvia was born March 4, 1947 in Harlem, NY. She was the only daughter of Norman Sr. & Azalee Kelly. Sylvia was raised in Harlem, along with her five brothers, Norman Jr. (Boo), Eugene (Stretch), Gerald (Gerry), Irving, and Curtis Kelly. It was in Harlem, where she met and married, her then husband, Bobby Williams Sr. That union was blessed with three children. In September 1988, Sylvia married Terrance (Terry) Forde, and became a bonus mom to his five children. In 1997, she retired from Health Insurance Plan (H.I.P.). In 1998, our "Native New Yorker" moved to St. George, South Carolina.

She was a member of Freedom, Worship & Praise Center Church, where she served as an usher. Music ran through Sylvia's veins, she loved listening, singing and dancing to all genres of music, she loved reading, and enjoyed completing challenging word puzzles.

Our sweet Sylvia, was a loving, loyal and caring Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, and Friend. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loving and devoted children, Ms. Shelby Pryor, Ms. Ericka Williams, and Mr. Bobby Williams Jr.; her step-children,  Terrance Forde Jr., Cortland Forde, Luana Liverpool, Carlotta Forde, Michelle Forde; her grandchildren, Azjah White, Jayda White, Aaron McQuennie, Langston Williams and Olivia Williams; her daughter-in-law, Erika Williams; her Godson, Kendall Moorehead; her brother-in-law, Glenn Forde; Alban McQuennie; and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
