Sonya Sharee Foster, the daughter of Sandra Middleton, was born on June 21, 1985 in Orangeburg County. On Saturday, October 11, 2008, God's Angel of Mercy came and she slipped into eternal rest.

Sonya graduated from Bowman High School with honors, she was active as a JROTC member and a cheerleader. After graduation, she moved to Columbia, SC to attend Benedict College. She was employed at Subway and Office Max.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Catherine Stewart.

She leaves to cherish precious memories: one son, Master Donnell Ja'zion Goodwin of the home; her mother, Sandra Middleton of Orangeburg, SC; her stepfather, Charles Middleton of Orangeburg, SC; two brothers, Carlos Keeve and Darius Middleton of Orangeburg, SC; three uncles, Mark (Keela) Middleton of Columbia, SC; John Middleton and Larry (Jenny) Middleton of Washington, DC; two special friends, Marquis Goodwin of the home and Ashley Jenkins of Charleston, SC; a special cousin, Nicole Riley of Chambersburg, PA; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
