Sikheria Higgins-Everette was born on July 31, 1979, to Miss Carrie Higgins and Mr. Paul Funchess.

Sikheria was a 1997 graduate of St. George High School in St. George, South Carolina, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina, in 2001.

Sikheria's singing talent took her to the Apollo Theater in New York, where she won first place at the age of 15. Sikheria's adventurous spirit took her to Japan where she taught for a brief time. Sikheria, upon returning to the states, taught music to middle schoolers in Rockingham, North Carolina. She taught elementary school music in Berkerly County schools and was the high school music teacher in Dorchester School District
4. She was also credited with vocally training various church choirs in the state of South Carolina. Sikheria was an entrepreneur. She founded S.H.E. Vocal Corral, where she wrote and arranged all of the music for her album, The Transition of S.H.E.

Sikheria was united in holy wedlock to Brian Antonio Everette on May 27, 2006. To this union, one miracle son, Chandler Lacyn Everette, was born.

On Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 7:25 a.m., Sikheria HigginsEverette gained her heavenly wings and is now harmonizing with her nana, Vernelle W. Higgins, in Heaven.

Sikheria leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving son, Chandler Everette; loving and devoted mother, Carrie Higgins-Smalls; devoted stepfather, Chalmers Smalls, Jr.; father, Paul Funchess, Sr. (Janice); brother, Kelton Higgins (Danielle); godparents, Reverend Bellinger, Jr., and Mrs. Hattie M. Folk; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and a special friend, Ausama Aweidat.
