Shawanda Katisa Mallard, the daughter of Gloria Mallard and the late Fred Mallard was born October 29, 1973.

"Toodie" as she was affectionately called by many, was educated in the public schools of Palmetto High School in Palmetto, Florida and St. George High School in St. George, South Carolina.

On Wednesday night, October 3, 2018 at trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina, "Toodie" was called home by her loving Heavenly Father.  Her work was done and her legacy will live on.

She is preceded in death by her father, Fred Mallard, grandfather, Willie James Bradley, grandmother, Rosa Mae Warren and a grandson, Kercheval Elmore, Jr.

Lasting and fond memories will always be cherished by her dear friend, Jeffery Britt of the home; three daughters, Ashley and Victoria Mallard of St. George, SC and Shamiya Keitt of the home; grandchildren, Kamarion Graham, Alayshia Elmore and Kameron Elmore; mother, Gloria Ann Mallard of Reevesville, SC; two brothers, Jason Mallard of Palmetto, FL and Damion Gaskin of Smoaks, SC; three aunts, Willie Mae Bradley of Reevesville, SC, Martha Bradley of Palmetto, FL and Gladys Adams of Reevesville, SC; five uncles, Henry Lee Bradley of Columbia, SC, Joseph Bradley of Reevesville, SC, Terry Lee Bradley of Palmetto, FL and Robert Mallard of Palmetto, FL; godparents, Alonzo Bradley of Atlanta, GA and Eartha Bennett of Charleston, SC; three great aunts, Elizabeth (Harry) Shuler of Branchville, SC, Essie Mae Baxter of Palmetto, FL and Bernice (Myon) Shuler of Bowman, SC.
