Ms. Sharon Regina Riley Hodges was born July 1, 1962 to the late Nathaniel and Rev. Hattie Ruth Riley, in St. George, SC.
Sharon received her formal education in the public schools of Dorchester County.

Sharon was well known for her culinary skills throughout St. George. Sharon's heart and home were like a door without a lock, always open and welcoming to anyone. If you needed it and Sharon had it, you had it! She loved her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephew, god children, family, and her Bible.

On Saturday, June 17, 2017, The Master called Sharon and she entered her heavenly home of eternal rest.

Sharon leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of all those who were touched by her life.

She leaves to cherish and reflect on her wonderful memories of love, her four loving children, two daughters, Laquesha Riley of St. George, Crystal Simon, of Orlando, FL; two sons, Keyovonnie Jennings, Sr. of Kentucky, and Russell Simon Jr. of Atlanta, GA ; the loves of her life, her twelve grandchildren, Janasya, Taniyah, Kierra, her teacup, Carmen, KJ, Kaden, Shaniya, Deasia, Devin, Chase, Noah, and Addyson; one aunt, Catherine Rolack; one uncle, Freddie Moore; nieces, Shatemia and Niyah; nephew, Lamontrell; god children, Yolanda Preston, Rodrick Wright, Meechie Johnson, and Rahniqua; a host of family, extended Frazier Family, and friends.
