Mr. Samuel C. Jenkins, son of the late Ceseph Young and Berdell Jenkins Washington was born in Dorchester County, South Carolina on June 10, 1954.

Samuel entered into eternal rest on April 28, 2021 at St. George, Nursing Home where he resided for over seventeen years.  He attended the public schools in Reevesville, SC.

Samuel joined St. Matthew Baptist Church in Reevesville, SC.

Samuel was joined in holy matrimony to Marcella Bovian.  This union was blessed with two children.

Samuel was the neighborhood handy man.  He loved fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Alfreda Washington, Delphine Washington and Genell Kelley; one brother, Norris Martin.

Samuel leaves to cherish his fond memories, his wife Marcella Jenkins of Titusville, FL; two children, Samuel Jenkins, Jr. and Janie Jenkins both of Titusville, FL; one grandson; two sisters, Ernestine Holman and Daveann Washington both of South Carolina; Michael Ratiers and Vernom Delee both of South Carolina; four sisters-in-law, Janie Mae Bovian, Trisher Owen, Geraldine Bovian and Bonnie Bovian; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
