Obituary

Sally Ann Parler Kennerly answered Gods call on August 6, 2025.  Sally Ann was born on November 5, 1953.  The oldest child born to the late Mr. Joseph Parler, Sr. and Mrs. Viola Boyd Parler in Orangeburg County in Vance, SC.  Preceding her in death are her sister, Mrs. Shirley Parler Stewart and her grandson, Mr. Douglas P. Kennerly.

Sally Ann was educated in the public schools of Dorchester County, SC and Dade County, FL.  She also attended Florida College of Business where she received a diploma for Medical Office Assistant.  Sally was also the proud co-owner of Vzuri Hair Braiding Salon where she was a master braider.  Sally's passion was taking care of the sick whether it was private duty or working in nursing facilities.

Sally Ann leaves her love and memories with her two children, Ms. Ferlisha R. Kennerly-Jones and Mr. Willie D. Kennerly, Jr. (L. Sugvona); two grandsons, Antwan R. Kennerly, Sr. and Willie D. Kennerly, IV; four great grandchildren, Antwan R. Kennerly, Jr., Harmony S. Kennerly, Aubrey S. Kennerly and Arian A. Kennerly; her siblings, Joseph Parler, Jr. (Barbara Jean), Doris Parler, Jimmy Parler, Prophetess Mary Freeman (Bishop John Freeman), and Judy P. Martino (Tyrone); her uncle, Daniel Boyd (Gloria Ann); aunts, Bertha Lee Amaker, Bessie Braxton, and Cheryl Butler; raised in the home with her as siblings, Grola Simmons (Ervin), Clarissa Young, Woodrow Young, Roy Young, Robert Young, Herman Young (Agnus) and Johnny Young; a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
