Ruby Mae Lemon entered eternal rest on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Ruby, daughter of the late Oscar Barton and Mary Willingham Barton was born on September 9, 1936.

She was joined in holy matrimony to Harris Lemon.  This union was blessed with two sons, Clay Harold and Patrick.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Harris Lemon; son, Clay Lemon; two sisters, Eloise Martino and Florie Edwards and one brother, William Barton.

Ruby leaves to cherish fond memories:  her loving and devoted son, Patrick Lemon of St. George, SC; three grandchildren, Roxanne Lemon, Roya Lemon and William Knox of Philadelphia, PA; two great grandchildren, Matilda Lemon and Little Ryan Lemon; four sisters-in-law, Barbara (Frank) White of St. George, SC, Marvie Brown of Harleyville, SC, Ruby Pooser of Grover, SC and Annie (Artis) Dozier of Brooklyn, NY; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
