Roderick Addison was born on June 12, 1978, to Isaac and Betty Addison, and entered eternal rest on October 20, 2025. From an early age, Roderick was known for his big heart, lively personality, and his ability to bring laughter and joy wherever he went. He was the second oldest of four brothers and proudly held the title of being the most vocal of them all.

Roderick was a true people person—he never met a stranger and was always the one to call and check on family and friends. His voice was familiar and comforting, often filled with humor and that special something to make everyone smile. He was known for keeping the family connected, ensuring that no one ever felt forgotten.

Roderick had a deep love for his parents and could often be found right by his mother's side—her "right hand."; When you saw one, you were likely to see the other. His devotion to both his parents was unwavering, and he showed his love through his presence, laughter, and care.

He was the life of every celebration— "the fun guy;" who made sure everyone was having a good time. Whether it was a family cookout, a gathering with friends, or just a casual visit, Roderick brought the energy, music, and laughter. His joy was infectious, and the light he carried will be dearly missed.

Roderick had a passion for high-end cars, especially Cadillacs and the Lexus. He loved to sing, dance, and travel—particularly to visit family, in Florida. A proud Philadelphia Eagles fan, Roderick never shied away from showing his team spirit. He enjoyed cooking, especially when it came to blue crabs, and was known to be quite the "connoisseur of beverages."

As the community DJ, for a time, Roderick made sure the music was always right—southern soul, that "brown liquor" music that made folks feel good. When he was on the turntables, the occasion was guaranteed to be fun filled. And of course, he had the perfect spot for family and friends to gather— "Addison Hill". Everyone knew it was *the* place to be for cookouts and celebrations. But when the night was over, Roderick had no problem letting everyone know it was time to wrap it up—even his mother wasn't exempt from being "put out," when he was done!

Though he didn't have a sister by blood, Roderick had many who claimed him as a brother. His circle was wide, his heart was full, and his spirit was one of a kind. Roderick was a member of New Grace United Methodist Church and shared a special bond with his church family as well. He also enjoyed spending time with his brothers and friends at the racetrack, surrounded by the things he loved—fast cars, big rims, and booming speakers.

Roderick was preceded in death by his oldest brother, the late Caterrance Addison, but leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted parents, Isaac and Betty Addison; his twin brothers; Antonie Addison, and Antonio (Denetra) Addison; paternal uncles and aunts, Joseph (Delorise) Addison, Horace (Linda) Addison, John (Priscilla) Addison; great uncle, Leroy (Dorothy) Hodges; maternal aunts and uncles, Thomasene Jackson, Barbara Berry, Patricia Carn, Wilson Carn; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and a host of cousins, friends, and loved ones who will forever remember his laughter, his music, and the joy he brought into their lives.

Roderick was the heartbeat of every room, the laughter in every story, and the smile in every memory. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched. He leaves behind fond memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.
