Robert Rasberry was born July 12, 1941 in St. George, South Carolina.

Robert passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 in Columbia, South Carolina.

He attended Williams Memorial High School in St. George, South Carolina.  Upon graduation, Robert relocated to New York.  He worked as a mechanic for New York City Transit Authority for more than twenty years.  He retired in 2004.  Upon retiring, he returned to South Carolina.  He resided in Columbia, South Carolina where he spent lots of time with family and loved ones.

Robert was preceded in death by his eight brothers and sisters.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving wife of fifty-three years, Nancy; four daughters, Tawanda of Charlotte, North Carolina, Diana of Los Angeles, California, Sonia of New York City and Shameeka of Winterville, North Carolina; one son, Don of New York City; nine grandchildren; one sister, Emma Rhett of Columbia, South Carolina; many nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
