Mr. Robert Primus, the son of the late John Lee Primus and Vernese B. Primus was born on August 3 ^rd , 1953 and departed this life on Monday, January 8 ^th , 2018 at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina.  He was only 64 years old when he finally lost his battle with cancer.

His education was obtained at George Westinghouse Technical Vocational High School in Brooklyn, New York.  He worked many years as a form carpenter for several employers including the M.B. Kahn Construction Company.

Robert was a passionate man; above all else he loved his family, drag racing and the town of Saint George.  There is no disputing that Robert was a cherished friend to everyone in the community.

Robert leaves to mourn his passing: his wife of 44 years, Jacqueline Primus of Sumter, South Carolina; three children; Jeannette (Primus) Reeves of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Robert Jason Primus of San Diego, California, and Michael John Primus of Saint George, South Carolina; siblings, Delores (Primus) McDonald of Spring Valley, New York, Merle Lester Primus of St. George, South Carolina, Hilda (Primus) Brewer of Tobyhanna Pennsylvania and Craig Primus of Poughkeepsie, New York.  Robert has eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
