Richard Dean Fogle son of the late Louise Fogle was born August 22, 1944 in Dorchester County and entered into eternal rest May 24, 2013.
He received his education in the public schools of Dorchester County. Dean drove tractor trailers for many years and was affectionately known as "Shoe Shine Boy". He enjoyed fishing, hinting, baseball, watching football (New England Patriots), small engine repair and going to Dorchester Dragway. Several years ago Dean became a member of the House of God Dorchester.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories his wife, Julie M. Fogle; four children, Lynette (late Anthony) Bowman of Goose Creek, SC, Denise Fogle of Dorchester, SC, Gardeana (Quinn) Smalls and Toni Fogle both of Summerville, SC; thirteen grandchildren; two adopted sisters, very special and devoted, Mary (George) Carn of Dorchester, SC and Margaret Williams of Brooklyn, NY; one adopted brother, Simon (Jerline) Williams of Dorchester, SC; mother-in-law, Rosa Bell Mack of Dorchester, SC; sisters-in-law, Lelia Bryant of St. George, SC, Rev. Jannie Britt, Cynthia (Melvin) Footman all of Dorchester, SC and Rose (Richard) Barnes of Holly Hill, SC; brothers-in-law, Robert (Earnestine) Mack, Gilbert (Leonard) Mack, Nathaniel Mack, James E. Mack all of Dorchester, SC; devoted cousins, Sharnelle Carn, Deborah Carn and Aveonze Carn all of Dorchester, SC; special cousin, Elizabeth Jones of Detroit, MI; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
