God's Angels were traveling Heaven's Lane looking for a perfect rose to call His own, there he saw Reverend Clark Wilson on his journey and called him Home and said, "Your journey is now complete."

Rev. Clark Thomas Wilson was summoned home by God's Heavenly Angels on February 14, 2018 at Hospice of Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

Rev. Wilson was born May 8, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Thomas and Genevieve Wilson.  He attended the public schools of Brooklyn, New York.  He continued his education at Trident Technical College and Duke University.  He was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Sister Pearl Mansion Wilson.  This lovely union was blessed with four children.

Rev. Wilson was a faithful and dedicated soldier who served untiringly in the Army of the Lord.  He preached the word of God to many people.  He pastored at Honey Ford Baptist Church in New York, Mt. Pleasant and Red Root United Methodist Churches in Walterboro, SC, The Reevesville Parish in St. George, SC and The Harleyville Parish in Harleyville, SC.  Rev. Wilson was a true servant of God's Word.

Rev. Wilson was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Pearl M. Wilson, daughter, Robin England and brother, Herbert Wilson.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories, three daughters, Christanna Tammy (Andra) Saxon, DeLoris Elaine Wilson and Elizabeth Wilson all of Dorchester, SC; one son, John Allen (Inez) Wilson of Florence, SC; other children he reared, Lisco (Renee) Simmons III of Summerville, SC, Vernon DeLee of Titusville, FL, Mary McFadden of Dorchester, SC, De Warren Washington of Tennessee, Brandon Ross of Orangeburg, SC, Kesha McNeil of Summerville, SC, QuoTarsha Tartt of Ridgeville, SC and Trina Robinson of Swansea, SC; his loving sisters, Ann (Tommy) Robinson of Bowman, SC, Helen Gilyard of Summerville, SC, Hattie Gilyard and Linda Gilyard both of Dorchester, SC, Anna Wilson of New York; brothers, Robert (Adrian) Gilyard of Elmont, NY and Benjamin Gilyard of Dorchester, SC; beloved grandchildren, Andrew Washington, Gregory England, Terrill Porter Saxon, Andra Saxon, Jerrean Stevenson, Quintina DeLee, Vernon DeLee, Mackenzie and Mackenya Wilson, Torae Robinson, and Johnan Clark Wilson; devoted and special friends, Charles Brown, Rev. Arthur Gilyard and Thelma Stephens; a host of nieces, nephews, adopted grandchildren, other relatives and special friends.
