Obituary

Reshard Lakeem Riley, the beloved youngest son of Frank Junior and Mildred Martin Riley was born Thursday, October 5, 1989 at MUSC, Charleston, SC.  He departed this earthly life for eternal life on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Reshard attended the public schools of St. George, SC and graduated with Woodland High School's Class of 2008.  He was employed by various companies in St. George area and was last employed with Tree Branch Packaging, Holly Hill, SC.

Reshard was an active member of Boy Scouts of America Troop # 675, The Wolverines.  He participated in all of the Troop's service projects, fundraising activities, and enjoyed the yearly Wilderness Trips to various areas of the United States.

At an early age Reshard accepted Christ as his Savior at St. Matthews Baptist Church, Reevesville, SC.  He served as an Usher.

Reshard was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Frank Senior and Nancy Segar Riley; maternal grandparents, Willie and Ruth Martin; uncles, James, Herman, and Lewis Riley, Charles and Paul Martin, Daniel Green, Mitchum Banks, Allen Cobbs and Harold Hopkins; aunts, Nancy Lee Riley Hopkins, Rosetta Riley Cobbs, Deborah Riley Hayes, Gustena Segar, Bertha Lee Segar, and Loretta Segar.

Left to forever cherish fond loving memories of Reshard, BIG brothers, Theatmus (Gloria) of Shelby, NC, Darrell (Tammy) of Summerville, SC and Ronzel (Janet) of St. George, SC; nieces and nephews, Tyberious Bryant, Christopher Brown, Anthony Brown, Jamere Lemon, and Ronequa Riley; aunts and uncles, Freddie Moore, Catherine Rolack, Jimmy Segar, David (Philipine) Segar, Alma Segar, Virginia Martin Greene, Daisy (Charlie) Green, Jeanette Martin Banks, James (Celia) Martin, Arthur White, William (Gloria) Martin, Donell (Linda) Martin, Louise (Johnnie B Kelly) Riley, Joseph (Josephine) Riley, Cynthia (Joseph) James, Brenda K.  Martin, Samuel Riley, Clarence Riley, Kelvin Riley and Daniel Haynes; Loving Nana, Edith (Copper) Govan; a host of cousins, friends and co-workers.
