Miss Renata Johnson departed this earthly life on Thursday, September 21st, 2023. She was born on July 25, 1980 to McCoy Johnson and the late Isabelle Moultrie Johnson.  Renata was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. She attended the public schools of Dorchester County and she also attended Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College.

Renata was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved her family and she always demonstrated her love with a smile and a hug. Renata enjoyed playing video games and spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: her devoted father, McCoy Johnson, her devoted brother, Mandrell (Karen) Johnson, Raleigh, NC; nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly; Shania, Quinette, and Mandrell, Jr., nieces and nephews reared in the home, Shanelle (Victor) Johnson, Sharae Smith, Eric Miller, and Brandon Ross; eight aunts, Mary Lee Reed, Orangeburg, SC, Vernell Munnly, New York, Bessie Hodges, Margie (John) Bradley, Lora (Alvin) Govan, Gloria Johnson, all of St. George, Doresa Littles, Laurens, SC and Clara Johnson of Bowman, SC; four uncles, Ronnie (Sallie) Johnson, Dorchester, SC, Thomas Johnson, Steve Johnson, and Charles "Stevie" Williams, all of St. George, a loving friend of the family, Winetta Owens, special friends, Virgil and Renee Williams, Eartha Mae Keitt, Ester Mainer; a host of other relatives and friends.
