Reginald Michael Deal was born on June 26, 1966 to the late Louis, Sr. and Sarah Adam Deal in Ritter, South Carolina.  He was the twelfth child of twelve children.  Reginald departed this life peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home of residency in Grover, South Carolina.

Reginald attended the public schools in Colleton County.  He worked for H & D to Wildwood to United Contractors, Inc. until his retirement.  He was a very devoted and loving father to his children, grandchildren and others in the community, which he was there to help anyone.  He devoted all his time to his family.  He loved his children and his grandchildren.  He enjoyed going fishing, his panthers and sitting on the porch with his lovely wife.

Reginald was united in holy matrimony to Shirley Utsey Deal.  To this union, they were blessed with two children, whom he loved dearly:  Quentin and Valencia.

Reginald was preceded in death by one brother, John Govan.

Those left to celebrate his life and cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 33 years, Mrs. Shirley Utsey Deal of the home; his children, Quentin and Valencia Deal; his grandchildren, Amadea Deal and Aiden Mack; his siblings, Thomas (Rebecca) Govan, Mary Francis (Al) Govan, John-deceased (Mary) Govan, Louretha (Leon) Bowman, Rose Kelly, Louis "Jr." Deal, Vivan (Chancer) Smith, George (Terri) Deal, Ray Janice McCutcheon, Clara (Howard) Snider, and Ruth Ella Edwards; a step sister, Betty Deal; two very special people, Brittney Adams and Tre'von Mack; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
