Mr. Randolph Buckner was born March 10, 1911 in Islandton, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Posey and Irene Buckner. After a brief illness, he was called home August 23, 2018 at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina.
Randolph was a member of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He loved gardening, sharing with the community and playing the guitar. He was a great mechanic. He retired in Washington, DC. He was a member of Bright Star Lodge # 50.
Randolph was joined in holy matrimony to the late Louise Capers Buckner. To this union two daughters were born. He later was joined in holy matrimony to Juanita Govan Buckner.
Randolph was preceded in death by his daughter, Flossie Mae Moore.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of thirty-one years Juanita Govan Buckner; one daughter, Lourine Harrison of Brooklyn, NY; two step daughters, Eunice (Herman) Wolfe and Stacey Govan both of St. George, SC; two step sons, Daniel B. Govan and Ricky (Sandra) Govan both of St. George, SC; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren, twenty great great grandchildren; a special caregiver, Kema Jamison; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
