Obituary

Plenty Hankins, Jr., affectionately known as "Bubba Son" was born on March 20, 1945 to the late Plenty Hankins, Sr. and Eliza Gavin-Hankins.

On Monday, October 18, 2021, Plenty made his heavenly transition to eternal rest.

Plenty was preceded in death by his loving wife Pastor Hattie Mae Boyd-Adebayo-Hankins.  Later on October 18, 2008, Plenty married Deanna Marie Williams.

During his childhood years Plenty was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in St. George, SC.  He later became a faithful and longstanding member of The House of God Church in Grover, SC for 45+ years.

Plenty's employment began with Jimmy Way as a skilled appliance repairman, logging and automotive mechanic at Jim Bilton Ford/GMC.

Those who knew Plenty well, considered him to be a jack of all trades.

Plenty enjoyed traveling between Florida and Tennessee.

Plenty was a devoted father and grandfather.  He was very protective of his daughters and maintained a close bond with each of them.

He was preceded in death by his brothers:  Michael and Adolph Hankins and Johnny Grant; two sisters, Betty and Joanne Hankins.

Plenty Hankins leaves to mourn three daughters, Penny Eliza Hankins, Hattie "Elizabeth" Hankins and Modupe Adebayo; three grandchildren, Ryan Jayki Williams, Camille Eliziyhanna Utsey and Elena Johnson; a loving sister, Louise Hankins-Grant; brother-in-law, James Grant; a host of close nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
