Mr. Phillip Edward Walker was born on January 15, 1950 in Dorchester County. He entered eternal rest on Wednesday morning January 1, 2025.

He attended school in Dorchester County and was employed at Reevesville Tree Farm for many years. He was a member of Bethel #1 Holiness Church in Reevesville, SC. Phillip enjoyed sitting on the porch in his rocking chair. He also loved his family especially his grandchildren even though he never called them right names. He would always dig in his pockets and give them 10 or 20 dollars every time he saw them. Phillip was well known in the community and will be truly missed.

Phillip was preceded in death by his mother Minnie Lee Breaker and father Lawrence Breaker. His mother-in-law Evelyn Syphrett, brother Thomas "Bubba" Fogle, brother-in-law Rev. Jeremiah (Rosetta) Reeves, sister-in-law Vivian Green, son Phillip "Tony" Syphrett and granddaughter Quantasia Sims.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife Ruth Walker of Reevesville, SC; son Brian Syphrett and daughter Laquina (Avrian) Sims of Columbia, SC; Two sisters Eartha (Richard) Carson and Rosetta (James) Lemon;  Four brothers Jasper "Jack" (Willie Mae) Breaker, Jimmie (Peggy) Fogle, Billie Fogle and Robert Fogle; Two sisters-in-law Bertha Reeves and Cynthia Simmons; One brother-in-law David (Christine) Syphrett; Ten grandchildren Amar Sims, Kyheim Lemon, Kanory Syphrett, TreQuan Syphrett, Ke'morveon Syphrett, Jaquez Sims, Keonta Syphrett, K' breonna Syphrett, Jemarceo Syphrett, and Safari Syphrett. He will be sadly missed by a host of cousins, friends, and other relatives.
