Obituary

Peggy Rose Seabrook entered this world and began her journey on March 13, 1953 in Dorchester County to the late Matthew and Carolyn Frazier Duggins. On July 12, 1990, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Herbert Seabrook.

Peggy Rose was the fifth of nine children. Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death: Calvin, Bobby, Gloria, Barbara, Virgil and Dwight.

Peggy Rose was a kind, gentle, sweet and loving person. Her children were her world and her grandchildren were her life. She loved her sisters and treated her nieces and nephews as if they were her very own. She was a pleasure to be in her presences.

Peggy Rose attended the public schools in St. George, South Carolina and a member of the Williams Memorial Class of 1972.

Peggy Rose departed this life on January 13 th , 2023, at Summerville Medical Center after a brief illness. She left to cherish her fond memories:  Her loving husband, Herbert, four children, Mrs. Tangela (Lamont) Green, St. George, SC, Ms. Tabatha Greene, Orlando, Florida, Ms. Sabrina Seabrook, St. George, SC and Mr. Herbert Matthew Seabrook, Summerville, SC;  two sisters, Mrs. Debra (Johnny) Baxter, and Ms. Nikita Duggins, all of St. George, SC; seven grandchildren, Tangelique, Tanasia, Jamere, Cailyn, Cheyenne, Braden, Lamarrie; one great-grand, Marlayshia (Snow); three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Patricia Duggins, Reevesville, SC, Mrs. Julia Mae Duggins and Mrs. Libby Clark-Smith both of St. George, SC;  four brothers-in-law, Mr. Jimmy Seabrook, Mr. Willie Seabrook, and Mr. Ben Seabrook, all of Walterboro, SC;  her mother-in-law, Mrs. Emily Seabrook, Walterboro, SC; one aunt, Mrs. Ruth McBride, St. George, SC, two uncles, Mr. Fred (Helen) Frazier, Brooklyn, New York, and Mr. Harry (Danielle) Frazier, Columbia, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives; three close friends, Carrie Warren, Shirley Crosby, and Wilhelmina Walker.
