Patricia Evette Cusack Britt entered eternal rest on Friday, July 3, 2020. She was born on February 16, 1954 in Summerville, SC to the late Kingmon and Eula Mae DeLee Cusack. After graduating from Harleyville-Ridgeville High School in 1972, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from South Carolina State College in 1976 where she became a member of the Beta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She then went on to receive a Master of Arts Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 1978.  Shortly thereafter, she gained employment with the Department of Social Services and worked there for several years.

Patricia was a dedicated member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church where she served until her passing.

She was united in holy matrimony to Ronnie Britt on August 19, 1977 and from this union a son was born. Her husband Ronnie and brother Rufus Cusack preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving son, Marcus Kortney (Ra'Shanda) Britt; four grandchildren who she adored, Allison, Aubrey, Micah, and Moriah all from Lancaster, SC; nine siblings, Willie Joe Cusack of Dorchester, SC, Betty Singletary of Sumpter, SC, Ollie Smith, Gerona Anderson, Luhaze (Arlethia) Cusack all of Dorchester, SC, Claretha (Michael) Riley of Fayetteville, NC, Reginald (Marie) Cusack, Jacqueline Simons both of Dorchester, SC and Caroline Cusack of Stone Mountain, GA; one aunt, Willie Lee Cusack of Dorchester, SC; one uncle, Richard Cusack of Dorchester, SC; in-laws, Gwendolyn Britt of Huntsville, AL and Patricia (Jake) Huggins, of Charleston, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a special friend Nora Snider.
