Pastor Clay
Rogers Pringle
Jun 1, 1953 — Apr 7, 2025
Pastor Clay R. Pringle was born June 1, 1953. He was called to his heavenly home after a brief illness on April 7, 2025. Pastor Pringle was born to the late Evelyn Gandy and Harry Pringle. He was raised with love and affection by his grandmother and great grandmother until adulthood. Pastor Pringle attended the public schools of Dorchester County, SC where he met his first love, Mamie L. Pringle, who preceded him in death. To this loving union they were blessed with six children; Troy Pringle (Theresa), Greg Pringle (Scherrie) both of St. George, SC, Eric Pringle (Chirita) of Ladson, SC, Melissa Pringle Rhodes (Simeon) of St. George, SC, Lemark Pringle (Caroline) of Melbourne, Australia and Lemare Pringle (Angela) of St. George, SC.
Pastor Pringle and his family resided in Florida for many years where he worked and learned many trades. He gave his life to Christ in 1977 under the ministry of Elder Lydell of Rockledge, Florida. After many years he and his family relocated back to South Carolina. He attended Bethel #2 Holiness Church for many years and became an Ordained Minister under the leadership of the late Pastor Nathaniel Summers. Later, he was called to Pastor Miracle Temple Church alongside his wife, Evangelist Mamie Pringle and founder, Minister Stewart. In 2001, the ministry suffered the devastating loss of Evangelist Mamie Pringle. Over the next few years Pastor Pringle remained faithful and dedicated to his ministry and children. He also became the soul caretaker of the adopted son of Minister Stewart.
While visiting the DMV he met Viola Brown and they were joined in holy matrimony on January 30, 2005. With this union he embraced two additional children as his own; Rasheed J. Brown of Walterboro, SC and Takiya (Aaron) McCoy of Raleigh, NC.
In 2009 he and Evangelist Viola Pringle started reconstructing Miracle Temple Deliverance Church and rededicated the ministry in 2010. Pastor Pringle had a loving heart for the community and established a feeding program for those in need and always extended a helping hand. In 2009 he and Evangelist Viola Pringle became an entrepreneur of Shabach Trucking and made deliveries to many states. After many years he retired to become fully dedicated to the ministry. Many lives were transformed as God used Pastor Pringle.
He was a proud grandfather of twenty-six grandchildren who adored him. He loved carpentry, fishing, preparing meals, lawn care, watching Western Shows and playing with his dog Roscoe. No matter what the situation or time of day he never stopped talking about the Lord. He never complained about anything. The joy of the Lord was his strength.
Cherishing his precious memories in addition to his wife, children and grandchildren; his sister, Rosezetta Summers; adopted sister, Linda Thompson; longtime friend, Marion Wolfe; brother-in-law, Floyd Ferguson and special brothers in the ministry, Reverend Willie C. Hamilton and Pastor Frazier.
