Pastor Ernest Martino, Sr. was born on August 2, 1948, in St. George, S.C. to the late Wilson Martino, Sr. and Ida Mae White Martino. He entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024.
Pastor Martino was the Pastor of Community House of Prayer.
Pastor Martino was united in holy matrimony to Gloria McCallum Martino. During this union, they were blessed with six children.
Three siblings preceded him in death, Elder Wilson Martino, Jr., Janie M. Simmons and Dorothy Hills, three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law also preceded him in death, Geraldine Page, Annie McCallum, Jannie McCallum, Ivan McCallum, and Ronnie McCallum.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Gloria McCallum Martino of St. George, S.C., his children Tony (Gail) Martino of Mims, FL, Hassan (Kesha) McCallum of West Columbia, S.C., Latresa McCallum of Columbia, S.C., Latisha Chestnut of Columbia, S.C., Ernest Jr. Martino of St. George, S.C, Jarvis Martino of Charleston, S.C., eighteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, his brother Elex (Freddie Lee) Martino of Titusville, F.L., his sisters-in-law Doretha Lee of Green Sea, S.C., and Cynthia McCallum of Conway S.C., his brother-in-law Jaspther McCallum of Green Sea, S.C., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; Very special friends, Julius and Dorothy Grayton; a godson, Quanlik Kennedy.
