Michael Anthony McFadden, Sr. was born on October 10, 1957 to the late Romie McFadden and the late Minnie Lee Carter. He was raised by his father and step-mother Mrs. Daisy McFadden.
Michael was educated in the school system of upper Dorchester County Schools. He graduated from Harleyville-Ridgeville High School in 1975.
Michael was joined into holy matrimony to Mary A. Williams on December 19, 1979.
Michael was a truck driver, a construction worker and employed at Salisbury Brick, Braswell Shipyard, and the Board of Disability as a supervisor. Later Michael was an entrepreneur.
Michael joined Elem Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He served on the Trustee ministry at the church.
Michael was preceded in death by two sisters, Ilatta Green and Evette Carter; one brother, Carnel McFadden.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 36 years Mary, four children Michael Jr., Myechia A. (Andre) Brown, Monique and Monae A. McFadden all of Harleyville, SC; three adopted children; Tellis (Antoniette) Green, Demetrius (Shana) Green and Felicia Green-Gelzer; four grandchildren, Marques McFadden, Malaysia McFadden, Makhai Salley and DeAndre Brown; four adopted grandchildren, Kimani and Kaleshia Green, Shaniya Green and Sheniquia Green; five sisters, Vivian (Dennis) Allen, Nicole McFadden of Harleyville, Shakiva (Ron) Staggers of Ladson; April (Gilbert) Bennett of Summerville, and Charlotte Smith of Miami, FL; four brothers, Harold (Shanika) McFadden of Harleyville, Cecil (Roshonda) Pringle of Jedburg, Tony Jacques of Holly Hill and Bernie Smith of Miami, FL; step mother, Daisy McFadden; one Aunt Etherline Kendrick of Miami, FL; brother-in-laws, Pedrow Williams of York, PA, and Franklin (Burnedette) Williams of Ridgeville, SC; one sister-in-law, Katherine Mack of Harleyville; special "adopted" Father and Sister, Rev. Clark T. Wilson and Elaine Wilson; a host of cousins, close friends and loved ones.
