A Time To Be Born:
Mary Jane began her life's journey on September 21, 1937, in Dorchester, SC. She was one of two children from the union of Malachi and Bertha Sprinkle; her brother, Malachi Sprinkle, Jr. preceded her in death.

As a youngster she joined Harvey Chapel Baptist Church. When her parents passed away she was raised with Bessie Thompson Smith as sisters, by William and Celie Thompson.

A Time To Live:
In 1955 she moved to New York City where she met and married Calvin L. Yates in 1957. From this union came a son Ronald Yates and two daughters, Deloris Yates and Sophia Larraine Yates.

When God called Reverend Yates to the ministry, Mary Jane Yates co-pastored God's Deliverance Tabernacle of Brooklyn, New York for over 30 years. This dynamic duel planted many ministries and led many souls to Christ.

In 1998 they both retired to St. George where Reverend Yates preceded her in death. From then on she continued to be a resounding cymbal in the Kingdom of God, with love and worship, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

A Time To Mourn:
Mary Jane Yates leaves to mourn and forever cherish her memories: two sons, Ronald Yates of Atlanta, GA, and Terrence Yates of Jamaica, WI and a special son, Roger Elmore of St. George, SC; two daughters, Reverend Deloris Greene of Atlanta, GA and Sophia Larraine Cooper of NYC; two sons-in-law, Ernest Greene, Jr. and Randolph Cooper; two daughters-in-law, Barbara Yates and Vivette Yates; grandchildren, LaRanda Cooper, Terrell Yates, Ronald Yates, Jerome Yates, Ernest Xavier Greene, Ron Frazier, Monique Yates and Geneva Rocqmore; great grands, Aaminah, Jazmine, Jamarie, Calrana, Janessa, Saquan, Elijah and Dayquan; nieces, Terry, Tracy, and Sharon of NYC, and Lydia of Atlanta, GA; nephews, Rusell and Darren Sprinkle of NYC; and a host of great nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends too numerous to name.
