Mrs. Mary Lee Paul was the daughter of the late Willie Smith and the late Ethel Smith.  She was born March 23, 1950 in Vero Beach, Florida.  Mary transitioned on June 23, 2024 at 11:44 am at the residence of her daughter, Jacqueline Martino and son-in-law, Barry S. Martino.

Mary lived in Orangeburg, SC where she worked at Jolley Acres Nursing Home in Orangeburg, SC for several years.  She soon moved on to working for Anderson Oil Company becoming a manager for multiple convenience stores for over 30 years.  She was always a faithful and dedicated employer.

Mary moved to St. George, SC in 2015 with her husband the late Gary Paul for her daughter, Jacqueline to provide care for them.

Mary will truly be missed by her loving family and friends.

Sister Paul was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Willie Lee Davis and brother, Archie Davis.

She leaves to cherish her many precious memories to her first born, Ms. Mary Ethel Simmons of Orangeburg, SC, her middle daughter, Jacqueline (Barry) Kelly Martino of St. George, SC and youngest daughter, Roxanne Kelly of Bowman, SC; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; special friends who kept in contact, Sis. Albertha Boyd, Sis. Daphane Smith (dancing partner), Sis. Janie Martino, Sis. Jennifer Martino, Sis. Adrienne Ortiz and Bro. Willie James Jenkins (Past Land Lord); along with a host of other relatives and friends.
