On Wednesday, March 4, 2015 God chose another one of his precious flowers. Mary McKoy of Dorchester, SC, daughter of the late Neomia Smith and the late Junior B. Dunnings was born June 29, 1954.

At an early age Mary joined Greater St. Paul AME Church. She attended Harleyville-Ridgeville High School where she graduated in 1972. While attending Harleyville-Ridgeville, Mary was a member of the band.

Mary's interest included reading the bible and spending time with family and friends.

Mary was blessed with three beautiful children.

Mary was preceded in death by one brother, Carlos Dunnings.

She leaves fond memories to her children, two daughters, Katesha McKoy of Florida and Bananka McKoy of Dorchester, SC; one son, Larry Howell of Harleyville, SC; seven brothers, Clay Dunnings of Harleyville, SC, Terry Dunnings of Charleston, SC, Mark Dunnings of Seattle, Washington, Albert Mack, Virgil Smith, and Allen Smith all of Dorchester, SC and Bruce (Queen) Smith of Walterboro, SC; four sisters, Betty Williams of Harleyville, SC, Sallie (Ronnie) Johnson of Dorchester, SC, Donnie (Walter) Davis of Harleyville, SC and Sandra Williams of Moncks Corner, SC; one aunt, Caroline Brown of Walterboro, SC; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
