Mary Martino was born to the late Melvin Bryant Sr. and the late Carletha Bryant. She was married for years to the late Willie Lee Martino. Mary Martino graduated from Williams Memorial High School and went on the complete Cosmetology School and then to start her cosmetology business in New York. She later moved to St. George and opened her business there, where she ran it successfully until she retired and moved to Columbia, SC in 2020. Mary is known as being the BEST hot comb handler EVER!Early in life she joined Harvey Chapel Baptist Church where she served on the Senior Choir and Young Adult Choir. She was also Church Secretary and served as a Missionary. Mary Martino was also an Eastern Star.

She is survived by a daughter, Cassandra (Frederick) Paden, and grandchildren Kelby (Myranaina) Bryant, and Iesha Paden, her special niece and bonus daughter Rose Garrett, and two bonus grandaughters Dana and Sa'Von Garrett, special nephew Alan (Tiffany) Bryant, a stepdaughter Sonia Williamson and step grandchildren Christopher Williamson Jr., Alexis Williamson, and Bryin Williamson, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin (Carrie)Bryant Jr.
