Marvin C. Neals, Jr. was born February 15, 1957 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina.  He was reared in Bowman, SC.  He was the son of the late Elouise Neals Fant and the late Marvin Thompson, Sr.  He departed this life on May 25, 2021 at his residence.

Marvin attended school in Bowman, SC.  Later in life Marvin relocated to New Jersey.  While in New Jersey, he obtained his CDL and became a professional truck driver.  He enjoyed driving trucks, it became a passion of his.  After some years, he left New Jersey and became a resident of Maryland.  Most recently he worked for Pink Trash Company, Inc. in Gaithersburg, MD.

Marvin was a member of Victory Christian Church International.

Marvin was preceded in death by one brother, Sylvester Neals and one sister, Flora Mae Goodwin.

He leaves to mourn his precious memoires, his daughter, LaKesha Williams of Summerville, SC; three sons, Marcellus (Ashley) Tilly of Moncks Corner, SC, Lemanuel Neals of North Charleston, SC and Kendrick (Natoshia) Neals of Orangeburg, SC; a special friend, Bernice Gallemore of New Jersey; six grandchildren, Sha'Asia, Jazyia and Jazae Williams,  Qamari Govan, Mason Tilly and Kennedi Rumph; two sisters, Tina Mullins of Arbor, MI and Shaquana Stroman of Syracuse, NY; six brothers, Malford Neals, Charles Fant, Ricky Fant all of Bowman, Jesse James (Nicole Rivers) Fant of Orangeburg, SC, Marvin Thompson of Queens, NY and Marliss Stroman of Syracuse, NY; three aunts, special aunt, Martha Bookard of Bowman, SC, Caroline Stevens and Mary Goodwine both of St. George, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
