Ms. Marsena Moore passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025.  She was born on April 17, 1969, she was the daughter of the late Lela Bell Hawkins and the late Junior Hawkins.

Ms. Marsena Moore, attended St. George High School in Dorchester County, SC.

Ms. Marsena Moore took pride in making homes shine. Earlier in life, she worked as a shampoo person, always bringing a bright and kind spirit to those she served.

She was a member of many social clubs and organizations where she loved them, and they loved her.

Ms. Marsena Moore, passion and delight, was spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Marsena Moore is survived by: Elese Vanderhorst, who loved and has raised her as her daughter in her home since high school; two aunts, Mary Julia Brown of St. George, SC and Lizzie Mae Davis of Newberry, SC; one brother, Willie (Laura) Moore of Summerville, SC; one sister, Tomekia (Gerald) Williams of Columbia, SC; her children, Aundrea L. Moore of Newberry, SC, Shayna Moore of Augusta, GA, Jetyerick Brown of Summerville, SC, Shedrick Brown of Columbia, SC and other angles that are not named; two grandchildren, Jayla Lindsay and Kenndi Douglas; six nieces and nephews, Willie James Moore Jr. preceded her in death, Ashley and Latoya Evans of Charleston, SC, Willis Brown of Summerville, SC, Korey Wright and Gerald DaVon Williams II both of Columbia, SC;  her special friend Trina Braxton of Summerville, SC ; a host of aunts, uncle cousins, special family and friends.
