Marilyn Seals (Acky) was born March 28, 1966 in Dorchester, SC to the late Harold and Dorothy Seals.
Marilyn attended Harleyville-Ridgeville High School and graduated with the class of 1986. Marilyn was a hard worker in the community, in the church and wherever she was employed. Most of all Marilyn was a loving and educated sister, auntie, sister-in-law and friend to everyone she met. Marilyn was the rock of the Seals and Summers family.
Marilyn's professional life was working at Stevens Moving and Storage for many years, and various restaurants. She did Health Care for people in the community. She worked in landscaping. She also worked at the Local Food Bank. She loved the work she did throughout the years.
Marilyn was a devoted member of Surprise Baptist Church where she served on the choir, President of the Pastor Aid Board and helped with many other auxiliaries in the church. She loved her Pastor, Rev. James Mclnnis.
Marilyn was a devout fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. She wore her Jersey and shirt proudly.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her brother, Allen Summers; her sisters, Annie V. Martino, Eyvonne Stafford and Brenda Gordon.
Marilyn is survived by her siblings, Carolyn Summers of Bowman, SC, Albertha S. Jones (Charles) of North Charleston, SC, Alice Hooks (Duran) of Atlanta, GA, Harold Seals of Atlanta, GA, Dorothy Williams of Ladson, SC, John Seals (Sharon) of Bowman, SC, Eugene Seals and Roosevelt Seals both of the home, James Green (Loriane) of Chapin, SC; brother-in-law, Billy Stafford of the home; sister-in-law,
Rosa Summers of Orlando, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marilyn showed much love to all her nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews. Marilyn had a special fondness for a nephew, Quavon Summers and Yosef T. Seals.
