Margaret Shuler Williams was born January 12, 1930, in the County of Forsyth in North Carolina to Casper, Jr. and Rosa Lee Shuler.

At an early age Margaret's family moved back to St. George, SC.  Margaret graduated from Williams Memorial High School now referred to as the St. George Rosenwald School.  After high school, in 1952 she moved to New York where she worked until she returned home.

In 1978 she began working at Orangeburg Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC.  She worked there until her mother's health declined.  She then became her mother's caretaker.  Margaret was a lifetime member of Bethel AME Church.

Margaret was married to the late Johnny Williams. Margaret was proceeded in death by one son Robert Shuler.  Margaret loved to read, flowers, her cat, family and friends.
