Mae Frances Cobb Brothers was born December 25, 1941 in Dorchester County South Carolina. She was the loving daughter of the late David Cobbs and Ethel Britt Cobbs. She was called to her heavenly home Friday, January 4, 2013.

Mae was educated in the Dorchester County Public Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. Mark Baptist Church in the Texas Community.

Mae worked as a home health care attendant and sales associate at Betty's boutique in Brooklyn, New York. Upon returning to St. George, South Carolina, she was employed by Carolina Girls Wear. She also worked in security for Electralux Products of Orangeburg, South Carolina for numerous years until she retired.

Mae was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Shedrick Cobbs and Johnny Cobbs, one sister, Dorothy Richardson and one granddaughter, Rontoria Primus.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a devoted husband, Henry Eugene Brothers; five wonderful children, Ronald (Shirley) Primus of Harleyville, SC, Cheryl (David) Pinckney of Ridgeville, SC, Regina (Willie Cee) Goodwin of Columbia, SC, Derrick Primus of St. George, SC, and Wanda (George) Oliver of Charlotte, NC; three step children, Darrell (Nya) Brothers of NC, Danell Brothers of NC and Hank (Elissa) Stewart of Manhattan, NY; one brother, Lundia Cobbs of Goose Creek, SC; two sisters, Cenell Williams of Inkster, Michigan and Betty Terry of Goose Creek, SC; nineteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; eight step grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
