Mrs. Lula Elizabeth Wilson was born August 20, 1962 to the late Deloris Jean Brothers Ziegler in Dorchester County. She departed this life on May 16, 2019 at her home.

At an early age she joined St. Mark Baptist Church. She was a member of the Young Adult Choir. She graduated from Harleyville-Ridgeville High School in Dorchester County. After graduating she moved to Albany, New York for many years. She worked as a Dietary Aide for Albany Medical Center for many years. Upon moving back home in Ladson, SC, she was employed with Compass Group where she worked until her illness.

In the early 1980's she met Mr. Anthony (Tony) Wilson. They were united in marriage in the early 1990's. This union was blessed with two adorable children, China Wilson and Cesar Wilson.

Lula was preceded in death by her mother, Deloris Jean Brothers Ziegler and one brother, Woodrow Brothers.

Lula leaves to cherish precious memories: her loving and devoted husband of twenty-three years, Anthony (Tony) Wilson; daughter, China Wilson; son, Cesar Wilson all of Ladson, SC; brother, Ronald (Donnette) Ziegler of Albany, New York; sisters, Sherry Newton of Harleyville, SC and Regina Gibbs of Summerville, SC; mother-in-law, Mrs. Barbara Wilson of Albany, NY; sister-in-law, Tia (Darryl) Carrington of Albany, NY; brother-in-law, David (Teresa) Wilson of Charlotte, NC; aunts, Mary Lou (Eddie) Bryant of Greenville, SC, Dorothy (Leon) Salley of Ladson, SC, Della Haynes of Summerville, SC, and Roberta Hollie of Summerville, SC; uncle, Horace Haynes, Jr.; devoted and loving niece, Konosha Tramaine Ziegler; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
