Obituary

Lucious Brownlee, the second son of the late Ned Brownlee,
Sr. and Abbie Lee Lewis Brownlee was born November 24,
1951 in Dorchester County, SC.

Lucious grew up in the Texas Community and attended St.
George High School.

He was employed by Moorer Plumbing for many years and
became a well-known person. He cared about his work as well
as the people around him. He was helpful and kind hearted.

He never met a stranger and had conversation for anyone.
His favorite question was always, "Does it hurt to smile?" You never saw him with a frown. He loved joking and having fun.
His favorite television shows were the old western movies.
On Monday, August 20, 2012, a week after Ned's death,
Lucious also left his earthen vessel where his spirit will find
eternal rest.

Those left to cherish many fond memories include his daughters,
LaKeisha Parler, Najia, Brittany and Canadra Brownlee;
companion, Catherine Edwards; his beloved brother, Joseph
Brownlee and sister, Virginia Brownlee; uncle, Amos Lewis;
cousins, Deloris Ray-Ferguson, Mitchell and Amos M. Lewis;
great-uncle, John Wesley Lewis; cousins, Betty Brunson, Elden
Williams, Leroy Williams and Idella Williams; other relatives
and friends.
