Mrs. Louise Smiley was born September 22, 1921 in Harleyville, South Carolina to the late Bill and Mary Ladson of Dorchester County, South Carolina.  She passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 27, 2018 in Rosinville, South Carolina.

At an early age she joined the House of God Keith Dominion Church in Harleyville, South Carolina.  She had an intimate/close relationship with God.  Mrs. Louise Smiley had a special ability to reach people in a deep and loving way.  She attended the public schools of Harleyville, South Carolina.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Smiley, two sons, Julius Smiley and Sam Smiley, Jr., six sisters and one brother.

Mrs. Louise Smiley is survived by her loving children, Geanette Smiley and Geraldine Brooks both of St. George, SC and Stella Shaw (Willie) of Raleigh, NC; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends; a special niece, Minister Rosa Lee Thompson and lifelong friends, Marie McDuffie and Hazel McFadden.
