Lloyd Alexander Comrie son of the late Ida Bedford
was called home by the Good Lord on July 20, 2015 at 3:00p.m.,
after a long illness. He was born May 10, 1940 in Jamaica,
West Indies where he was raised.
In Jamaica, West Indies Lloyd was a seasoned worker. He moved
to the United States, New York City, in 1978 and later met Ms.
Margaret Dantzler on January 4, 1984 they were United in Holy
Wedlock.
Lloyd was a construction worker with several companies while in
New York. Later the Comrie's moved to St. George, South Carolina
where he worked for Sander's Brothers Construction until he
retired from the Company. Later Lloyd worked in the maintenance
dept. at Wal-Mart "Oakbrook" for 6 years before he retired the 2nd
time.
Lloyd was a good Man, quiet but very loving to his wife, children
and grandchildren. He enjoyed going fishing with the LOVE of his
life, his wife Margaret.
Lloyds', mother: Ida Bedford, father, Mr. Comrie and son, Donovan
Comrie all preceded him in death.

Comrie of St. George, SC; two daughters, Jennifer and Shirley
Comrie; one, son Dalton Comrie; two sisters, Tillie and Gene all of
Jamaica, West Indies; one step daughter, Queen Esther Holmes;
four grand sons, Lelangel Holmes and Emanuel Holmes of
Summerville, SC Remell Marshall, Nevell Holmes of Walterboro
SC ; one step-grand daughter, Shaquina Holmes all of St. George,
SC; seven great- grand children and a host friends.
