Mrs. Lizzie Mae Elmore Brown was born on September 21, 1943 to the late Rebecca Simmons Elmore and James Elmore of St. George, South Carolina.

She departed this life on Friday, September 3, 2010, after a brief illness.

Lizzie attended Williams Memorial High School in St. George, South Carolina.

Lizzie at an early age, she became a member of Brown Chapel FBH Church and later she affiliated herself with Miracle Faith Temple United Church of God in Holly Hill, South Carolina.

Lizzie was joined in holy matrimony to the late Julius Brown, Jr.

Lizzie leaves a host of loving family members to cherish her memories: her daughter, Cynthia Elmore of the home two sons, Keyth Brown of St. George, SC and Frederick (Vernetta) Brown of North Charleston, SC; three grandsons, Raymond (Tonya) Elmore and Richardo William both of Eutawville, SC and Dominic Smith of St. George, SC; one granddaughter, Barbara Josetta Smith of St. George, SC; two great-grandchildren, Thaj and Kandice Elmore ; one brother, James (Ruby) Elmore of St. George, SC; one sister, Catherine Watson of St. George, SC; two aunts, Frances Jenkins of Smoaks, SC and Isabelle (McCord) Johnson of St. George, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Lizzie had so many special friends who will always love and remember her.
