Linda "Inkie" Britt Seels, daughter of the late John Henry and Eunice Britt was born January 17, 1956. She departed this life on Thursday January 3, 2013 at St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Charleston, SC. Linda's life was committed to God, her loving family and friends.

In her youth, she attended Bethel Baptist Church where she was an active member and grew in Christ.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. John Seels and to this union one daughter was born.

Linda was a very loving and caring mother. She had a special way of spreading joy through her loving smile, laughter, and concern for others. Linda often blessed her family and friends with jewelry—custom made by her and LaRona.

Linda was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Ronnie and Bernard Britt.

Reminiscent of a life committed to Christ and her family, she leaves to cherish fond memories: her husband, John Seels; one daughter, LaRona Seels of Charleston, SC; a loving step-mother, Ida B. Britt of St. George, SC; one sister, Patricia A. (Jake) Huggins of North Charleston, SC; one brother, Christopher E. (Gwendolyn) Britt of Huntsville, AL; three sister-in-laws, Olivia (Joe) Smalls, Barbara (Richard) Zimmerman both of Charleston, SC and Patricia Cusack of Dorchester, SC; two brother-in-laws, Teddie (Patricia) Seels, Randall (Netta) Seels both of Charleston, SC and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
