Linda L. Glover answered Gods call from labor to reward on June 06, 2021. Linda was born on December 20th, 1951. The 6 th child born to the late Mr. Clifton and Mrs. Dorothy Durant in Dorchester County, in Saint George SC. Preceding her in death six siblings: Mr. Peter and Paul Smith, Mr. Eddie Durant, Mrs. Deloris Donaldson, Mr. Matthew K. Durant and Mrs. Lena D. Frazier.
A Time to Flourish
Linda attended the public schools of Dorchester County where she earned her high school diploma. She was a hard worker and dedicated to all she put her hands to. She enjoyed working in her local community stores when she was not being a full-time wife and mother. Upon moving to Brooklyn NY, she ventured out and became employed by The Board of Disabilities for 14 years, The Board of Education for more than 19 years and the Internal Revenue Service for 7 years. When Linda was not at work you could find her praising and worshiping at Liberty Baptist Church under the pastor Rev. Curlee Windham.
A Time to Love and Cherish
Linda was the wife of the late Kenneth Glover for more than 48 years until his death in 2020. Left to cherish her memories her two children, Mrs. Angela N. McKewn (late Lawrence) and Mr. Kenneth Glover, Jr. (Nicole) all of Utica, NY; seven grandsons; three granddaughters; one great-grandson; one great-granddaughter; brothers, Mr. Robert Ravenell (Mamie) of St. George, SC, Mr. Clifton Durant, Jr. (Carrie) of Holly Hill, SC; sisters, Mrs. Ethel Judge (William) of Charleston, SC, Mrs. Carletta Wren (Wesley) of Harleyville, SC and Mrs. Annette Fontaine (William) of Brooklyn, NY; brother-in-law, Mr. Ronald Glover (Ollie Mae) of Far Rockaway, NY; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Oranna Lewis (Willie) of Queens, NY and Ms. Sara Glover of Brooklyn, NY; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
